Berlin climate citizen
Miriam Koudmani architect at Riegler Riewe Architekten Berlin became ONE of 100 randomly drawn Berliners for the first Berlin Climate Citizens Council (a project by the State of Berlin). "Climate protection has top priority." This is the first guiding principle of the first Climate Citizens Council.

On April 26, 100 representatively selected Berliners meet for the first time to talk about climate protection. After eight weeks of intensive deliberations, on June 30, 2022, they presented their concrete proposals and recommendations for future climate policy in the capital to the Senator for the Environment, Mobility, Consumer and Climate Protection, Bettina Jarasch, in the House of Representatives. The project "Berliner Klimabürger:innenrat" was commissioned by the Senate Department SenUMVK following a resolution of the House of Representatives.
