The new ZWT II accommodates on approx. 1,690 m² of floor space (including sanitary facilities) a generously designed lounge area with multifunctional meeting units on the ground floor as well as flexibly divisible office and laboratory clusters distributed over five upper floors. Individual social areas are also planned on each floor. As informal meeting points on each floor, they complement the concept of the open, communicative building. The 1st floor is designed as a pure laboratory floor. The 2nd and 3rd floors contain a mix of laboratory units and office units. The 4th and 5th floors are designed for office use only. The laboratories can be rented individually, but can also be coupled. Offices can be rented as cellular offices, combination offices, open space, co-working - or even as we-working offices. The compact, highly efficient infrastructure core was taken from the competition design, which accommodates not only access, kitchenettes and sanitary units but also all infrastructure shafts.
