Scope of the competition Reorganization of the University Hospital Complex and New construction Comprehensive Transplant Centre in Cluj-Napoca in Romania. The Comprehensive Transplant Centre will be part of the structure of the Cluj County Emergency Clinical Hospital. The project has a strong innovative character, aiming to design and execute the first transplant centre in the country that accommodates all the necessary facilities for four types of transplant: heart transplant, lung transplant, liver transplant and kidney transplant.

The plot proposed for the competition is located within the city limits of Cluj-Napoca, inside the urban complex of the Historical city centre of Cluj and has an area of 15,040 sqm.
